Obedience Training

Using the latest methods of gentle hands-off training, praise-and-reward motivation and positive reinforcement we aim to show you how to improve your relationship with your dog.

A trained dog is a happy dog, a happy dog is a wonderful lifetime companion.

Puppy Course
A six week course designed to cover the requirements of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Puppy Foundation Award. Advice, instruction and practice in all of the essential basic training and welfare areas.
This course is available for puppies up to one year old. Booking details

Newcomers Course 
Similar to the Puppy Course this is for the benefit of the older or rescue dog. Are you a new handler with an old dog? Or an experienced dog owner who would like to know more about modern handling methods? This course could be just the thing for you and your best pal.

Obedience Classes
Our very popular classes give you the opportunity to advance your understanding and handling of your dog. Learn new skills and aim for Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards in the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme.

Obedience and Puppy/Newcomer classes are held on Thursday evenings at St Barnabas Church Hall, Perth Road, Beckenham, Kent, BR3 6PP. Free street parking on Perth Road and Oakwood Avenue.

  Puppy/Newcomer Class 7.15pm - 8.00pm
  Beginner Class 8.15pm - 8.45pm
  Intermediate Class 8.45pm - 9.15pm
  Advanced Class 9.15pm - 10.15pm

You are welcome to come to the club to view our classes, however please do not arrive before 8.15pm to avoid disturbing the puppy/newcomer courses.
